After passing the JAMB exam and your preferred institution’s post-UTME screening, you will most likely be offered provisional admission.
Students must therefore print their admission letter. The admission letter serves as proof of admission and is required for registration and clearance at your new institution.

Step 1: Visit the JAMB portal
To print your JAMB admission letter, first visit the JAMB portal at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/ and log in. To log in, enter your JAMB registration number and password in the appropriate fields, then click “Login”.
Step 2: Locate the menu bar on your JAMB profile home page
Once on the homepage, look for the “Print Admission Letter” tab on the menu bar and click on it. This will take you to the admission letter printing page, where you will see the Transaction ID generated for this service. Wait for this page to fully load.
Step 3: Review the details before paying to print your JAMB admission letter
Now, review the information on the “Confirmation Page”. Also, take note of the Transaction ID, which is in bold red text.
This notation is used because the Transaction ID is useful for any subsequent references to the transaction, such as failures or errors. A copy of the transaction ID will also be sent to your email address.
Step 4: Make payment
The next step in printing your JAMB admission letter for 2023 is to click the “Continue” button. If you pay with a debit card, you will receive an instant payment. In fact, it’s the fastest.
If you want to use another payment channel, such as an ATM, a bank, or a Quickteller, please keep the transaction ID because you will need it as a payment reference.
If you’re paying with a debit card, the Interswitch Payment page will prompt you to enter your card information and click the Pay button. This service costs between ₦1,000 and ₦2,000.
Step 5: Confirm your transaction success
Your payment status will be displayed in the “My Payment Section”. When your payment is successful, you will receive an SMS and email containing your unique Transaction Identification and payment status. Then click “Continue”.
Step 6: Print your JAMB admission letter
Once you’ve made your payment, you’ll need to enter the following information into the appropriate fields:
a. Exam year.
b. JAMB registration number.
After you’ve entered the above correctly, click the enter button to see a new tab with the letter pop up on your screen.
Click the “Print” or “Download” icon, wait for the page to load, and then print if you have a printer.
Make sure to save a soft copy to your computer or mobile device. This will be used as a backup in case you misplace the hard copy.
