WAEC 2024 Final Timetable For May/June SSCE Released
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has made public the schedule for the SCCE examination that will take place in Nigeria in May and June of 2024.
The practical sessions for Foods and Nutrition 3 and Home Management 3 will begin on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, and will continue until the beginning of the examinations themselves.
In accordance with the information that was provided by WAEC via its Twitter account, @waecnigeria, the English language examination is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. We will administer the English Language 2 (Essay), English Language 1 (Objective), and English Language 3 (Test of Orals) examinations on the same day, within the same time period.
On Thursday, May 30, 2024, there will be both the General Mathematics/Mathematics (Core) 2 (Essay) and the General Mathematics/Mathematics (Core) 1 (Objective) examinations.
Tuesday, June 4, 2024, is the day when both Economics 2 (essay) and Economics 1 (objective) are planned to take place.
As a result of the Eid-al-Adha national holiday, there will be no examinations held between the dates of Monday, June 17, 2024, and Wednesday, June 19, 2024.

According to the WAEC, which emphasized this point, candidates with exceptional requirements, such as those who are blind, deaf, or dumb, should receive an extra one and a half times the amount of time as other candidates.
The West African Examinations and Examinations Commission (WAEC) claimed that thirty percent of applicants gained credits in five disciplines, including English and mathematics, during the most recent Computer-Based West African Senior School Certificate Examination for private candidates, 2024–First Series.
Comparatively, the proportion of applicants who met this requirement in the WASSCE for private candidates in 2022 and 2023 (First Series) was 26.32% and 23.99%, respectively. This was the case in both years.
