Admission Requirements
General Criteria
Prospective candidates must meet the following prerequisites:
- A minimum of five credits in subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in WASC, NECO, or GCE, in no more than two sittings.
- For Master’s programmes: A Bachelor’s degree with at least a second-class lower division.
- For PhD programmes: A Master’s degree with a minimum weighted average score of 60% (Grade B).
- For PGD programmes: A third-class degree or an HND with lower credit.
Specific Criteria
Certain programmes have additional requirements:
- MBBS or BDS qualification for MPH Community Medicine.
- Health-related degrees for MPH Sexual and Reproductive Health.
- PhD candidates must submit a 500-word research proposal.
Application Process
Eligible applicants should follow these steps:
- Access the UNIABUJA portal.
- Select “Postgraduate” and enter the required details (surname, first name, email, and phone number).
- Generate an RRR payment code and pay the application fee of ₦20,500 via REMITA.
- Return to the portal to complete the application form.
- Upload all necessary documents, including the Transcript Request Form (Form A2) available on the portal.
Transcript Submission
Applicants are required to submit their transcripts in both electronic and hard copy formats:

Payment Details
