JAMB had closed the registration for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in February. The registration window spanned from Monday, January 15, to Monday, February 26.
In preparation for the main exam, more than 260,000 candidates participated in the 2024 mock UTME held across 793 computer-based test (CBT) centres in Nigeria.
Every year, JAMB administers the UTME in Nigeria. The scores obtained by students determine their admission into higher education institutions such as universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education.
Meanwhile, Adesegun Ogungbayi, the board chairman of MIMS Educational Services, Lagos, advised UTME candidates to promptly visit the examination centre they are assigned to ahead of the printing of examination notification slips. He stressed the importance of not waiting until the day of the exams to search for the venue.
