JAMB Announces UTME 2025 Registration, Exam Dates.
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the schedule for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
According to the board’s statement on Tuesday, January 28, prospective candidates will have from Friday, January 31, 2025, to Wednesday, March 5, 2025, to complete their registration.
During a press briefing in Lagos, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, the JAMB registrar, outlined the timetable for the registration and examination process. He noted that all arrangements have been finalized to ensure a seamless registration exercise.
Examination Dates and Mock Test
The 2025 UTME is scheduled to begin on Saturday, March 8, 2025. To prepare candidates for the main examination, a mock test will be conducted on Sunday, February 23, 2025. The mock test is optional, targeting candidates who express interest during registration.
JAMB emphasized the importance of adhering to the registration timelines to avoid any last-minute challenges. Professor Oloyede stated that the board is committed to maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the examination process.
“We are fully prepared to ensure a smooth experience for all candidates,” he said, urging prospective applicants to complete their registration early to avoid congestion.
